Trivia -  Today’s Question:  The Pittsburgh Pirates became the first team to broadcast one of their games on the radio.  What year did this occur?

Yesterday’s Question: Ty Cobb played 23 seasons in major league baseball and hit over .300 for his last 22, a record that surely won’t be broken.  How many MVP awards did Cobb win in his career?
Answer:  One, in 1911 when he led the American League in runs, hits, triples, doubles, RBI, stolen bases, batting average, slugging percentage, and OPS.

Vegas Bet:  Lastly, here’s an actual bet you can make at a Las Vegas Sports Book: Over/Under 6 strikeouts by Stephen Strasburg tonight in San Francisco.
Yesterday’s Bet:  Over/Under 2 runs scored by the Miami Marlins tonight against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Result: Over.  The Marlins scored 5 runs.
